Biography

Peter Malcolm King, is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of GLS Inc., a Liberian logistics company that recently secured a 25-year concession agreement with the Government of Liberia to operate and modernize air-cargo services at Roberts International Airport. Under his leadership, GLS has become a transformative force in the region’s logistics and trade ecosystem.
He established GLS in late 2011 after resigning from his role as General Manager, Commercial, at Linetrale Petroleum Company, headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria. During his five-year tenure at Linetrale, he played a pivotal role in the company’s regional expansion into Liberia, Ghana, and Côte d’Ivoire. As Head of Business Development, he was instrumental in driving both operational growth and financial performance—helping increase turnover from USD $67 million in 2007 to over USD $300 million by 2010.
Since beginning operations in 2012, GLS Inc. has scaled rapidly and earned a reputation for excellence in logistics and supply-chain innovation across the Mano River region. The company is widely recognized for its efficiency, customer-focused operations, and solution-oriented service delivery model.
